Certified Nutrition Specialist
Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula
Food-As-Medicine Chef
Warrior Nourishment founder Chelsea Sheridan spent much of her youth and young adulthood seeking relief for the physical and mental symptoms associated with scoliosis spinal fusion surgery, stress-induced food intolerances, and undiagnosed endometriosis. That long, unyielding pursuit of ease in mind and body motivated her to enter the wellness industry.
Chelsea earned a BA in Sociology and Global Health focused on food access at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and Integrative Health Coaching from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. At the height of her endometriosis pain and discovery journey, Chelsea pushed through personal adversity to complete the 1,500 clinical hours required to become a Nationally Board Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS): the most clinically advanced credential for holistic nutrition practitioners.
Through her own needs and the calling to help the women around her, Chelsea realized that nutritional and communal support for gynecological challenges are far-and-few between. With an intuitive sense of responsibility to fill the gap, Chelsea poured all her passion into women’s health studies, nourishing the body to prime for fertility, feeding for two upon conception, and healing from postpartum in a new motherly form. She then became a certified birth and postpartum doula to better aid the clients she has always been called to serve.
Combined with her clinical work in naturopathic care, personal cheffing work in Miami, Florida, Michelin Star cheffing in Copenhagen, Denmark, and extensive coaching in the autoimmune space, Chelsea bolsters Warrior Nourishment with an expansive toolbox of actionable healing methods to support meaningful change. Through empathic coaching and curated meal delivery, Chelsea looks to new horizons of supporting root-cause health in the hopes of transforming her clients’ daily lives.
